My mum introduced us to the Hopetoun Tea rooms when I was 5 and every school holidays she would take us there. Mum is now 96.
I have taken my children and grandchildren and it has always been a memorable and joyous experience.
The new place will not be the same.
Shame on you Melbourne city council.
