The Hopetoun Tearooms are a institution. Doesn’t anyone care about our country’s history and heritage any more.
A lot more could be done to help preserve these iconic sites.
Shame on the Melbourne City Council, National Trust and State government.
More interested in creating bike tracks etc
– should be putting more effort into taking care of irreplaceable historical sites that make up the fabric of our city.

I wasnāt in the city very often but when I was, we always had morning tea there. It was a very special place and I loved going there.
Lived in the country but on visits to Melbourne my mum would always bring me here beautiful place so glad you are opening somewhere else

I love this place. My boss used to but us pinwheels every Friday when she had her hair done. Iād never had them before but omg. The best ever that was in 1972. I have taken my girls and grand children a couple of times. Memories and the best ever
